Princess Castle Quest is the first game by the Developers at Piggybank Studios. The game has been in development for over 2 years and we have finally released the game in Early Access Mode on Steam. The game is still unfinished and development continues in earnest but you can buy the game and get involved in these early stages if you are interested. The game follows the story of a Princess who is kicked out of her father’s castle on her 18th birthday. She must travel through the wild countryside, picking up gold and gems to save up to buy her very own castle.

Our goal is to make a puzzle adventure game that delivers on a solid set of unique puzzles and mechanics while also including a complete and usable Level Editor for people to make their own levels and puzzles. The game is built from scratch with our own custom Game Engine which allows us to polish and complete every last piece of the design and feel. We also love to interact directly with the people who play our games. We care more about creating something cool and useful for people than making a bunch of money.

When

Early Access on Steam started on February 7th 2020. We plan to be in Early Access mode for at least a year before releasing. If the game does well enough we may look into porting it to the Nintendo Switch and maybe iOS and Android.

Who

Piggybank Studios is a collection of just 5 people. This is our first game and we have spent a massive amount of time collectively building everything from scratch. We enjoy making games and exploring what is possible. We couldn't care less if we make money or recoup our “losses.” To us, the journey, and the experience of sharing our game with others is the prize.
